You can create a Lesson named “Trial Class” and color-code it differently to distinguish them from regular sessions. If your trial class is free, you need to create a new Lesson Package while creating your trial class lesson and choose Credits (not Universal Credits) as the package type. It is also important to pick No Auto-Generated Invoice so that parents won’t be charged for your trial class. The workflow is the same as registering their child for the first time, in which parents have to fill in the centre’s online registration form. However, since parents already have an active AOne account, they need to fill in the same email and mobile number currently registered on their account.

This way, during registration, parents will be asked to confirm if this registration belongs to their existing account. Once the registration form has been submitted and approved by the centre, parents will be able to see multiple children registered on their app.

Can I capture custom information in the registration form, like medical history or t-shirt size?

Yes, the form features customizable fields that let you gather specific details tailored to your learning centre&#8217;s needs during the intake process. Any custom data captured during registration is saved directly to the Student’s Profile, making it easily accessible for authorized staff. This flexibility allows you to ditch paper-based questionnaires almost entirely and store important operational notes safely in one secure database.

Can I charge a one-time registration fee upon lesson enrollment for recurring invoice?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can do this by modifying an invoice generated upon enrollment.

Generating an invoice on enrollment when enrolling the student to said Lessons will create an invoice separated from the recurring one, with a customizable issue date, billing month, and due date. This is only applicable to any package using recurring invoice generation.

Once the enrollment invoice has been generated, you can modify that specific invoice and add an invoice item, detailing registration fee, by adding a new invoice item.
